You’ll start earning gems from the moment you officially join our BOJ Rewards Program. Unfortunately, that means we can’t credit gems from past orders. 

Sign up at the top of our BOJ Rewards page. Pro tip: Refer a friend, and you’ll receive 150 additional gems.

Leveling up helps you access even more benefits. Here’s how it works.

• Earn more gems: As you level up, earn more gems for every $1 spent.
• Extra birthday gems: Every level gets bonus birthday gems on us, but the more you level up, the more gems we’ll gift you.
• Exclusive drops: Once you spend $300 to reach the second tier of our rewards program, you’ll unlock access to exclusive drops and merch. If you spend $1,000 to unlock our fourth tier, you’ll also get a surprise gift on us.

12 months after unlocking your current VIP tier, we’ll review whether you met the required spending for your tier over the past year. If not, you may be moved to a lower VIP tier. For example, you unlock our Jade tier after spending $300. To secure your status the following year, spend another $300 over the next 12 months. 

There are plenty of ways to earn gems beyond stocking up on your favorite Beauty of Joseon launches. Here are a few tips to maximize your gems:

• Join: Sign up for our BOJ Rewards Program and earn 100 gems.
• Shop: Earn gems for every $1 spent. The higher your level, the more you’ll earn.
• Review: Write a product review and earn 250 gems. You can earn an extra 50 gems when you upload a photo, plus another 50 when you upload a video.
• Follow: Earn 30 gems for following us on Instagram, and another 30 gems when you follow us on TikTok.
• Celebrate: Tell us your birthday so we can treat you to bonus gems.
• Refer a friend: Earn 150 gems when you refer a friend.
• Blog: Earn 100 gems for reading our BOJ Blog and answering a few questions once a month.
• Quiz: Take our monthly Skin Quiz and earn 200 gems.

To view your gems balance, log in to your account and select the Rewards menu at the top of the page. (You can also click the Rewards icon in the bottom right corner.) 

Always make sure you’re logged in to your account when shopping so we can credit your gems.

Don’t worry! It may take a few minutes for our system to process your gems. If they’re still not visible after 24 hours, reach out through our contact form so we can help.

If an order is returned or canceled, all gems associated with that order will be automatically deducted from your account.

If your BOJ Rewards Program account is inactive for a year, then gems will expire 1 year after you earn them. Remember that there are ways to keep your rewards membership active beyond shopping!

Redeem your gems at checkout by clicking the Rewards icon at the bottom right corner of the checkout page. Choose from $5 off or free shipping.

Log in to your BOJ Rewards Program account to check your gems, view available deals, and review your savings history.
